Summer works with teens( 14+), adults, couples, and groups. Summer integrates several theories and treatment approaches into her counseling practice, primarily operating from a Cognitive Behavioral or Solution-Focused Treatment Approach while providing the listening skills, warmth, and empathy of Person-Centered counseling. Summer specializes in working with adults, adolescents, and underserved populations who are ready to be empowered and make positive life changes. We deserve to live a more awake, happy, and beautiful life.

Summer received her Master of Education Degree in Counseling--Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling in 2023 with Lamar University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Learning and Technology in 2019 from Texas A & M University-Commerce. Summer also possesses an associate degree in interdisciplinary studies--Paraprofessional Education from Kaplan University. She has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage and banking industry.

Summer is excited about her new career in counseling! As an extrovert, it is easy for her to make contact with people. Her strengths are that she is spontaneous, flexible, and observant. She aims to help people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues causing them distress, anxiety, and stress.

Summer enjoys nothing more than spending time with her close family and friends, listening to live music, traveling, dancing, and reading. Summer is a devoted mother of two sons and a wife.
